Another week passed and I would like to show how my Wednesday food looked like. Cookies & Style is collecting all vegan Wednesday posts and later you can find the pictures on the Pinterest board.
I started my morning with a warm lemon water. Drinking it before the breakfast should help your digestion, cleans your body, clears your skin, adjustes the pH-value in your body and it makes you feel more energized. My breakfast was a simple porridge, sweetened with my home made date syrup and topped with banana, kiwi, avocado and chia seeds. I drank one cup of black tea with it.
In the morning, the sun was shining so we decided to visit the close by Maçka Demokrasi Parkı in Beşiktaş. We found a great spot with Bosphorus view and enjoyed the sunshine and had a little picnic with simit, bananas, carrots and apples. We watched the dogs and cats around us, who also enjoyed the weather 🙂
Back home we had a simple dinner, Turkish rice with pasta (tel şehriye), broccoli and a chickpea-soya meat sauce.
