{Restaurant} Dandin Bakery

The Dandin Bakery is a restaurant and cafe in the trendy neighborhood of Karaköy. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a cool interior. But you may also stop by for a cup of coffee.  On the menu, there is limited number of vegan options like soups, salads or smoothies. Relatively, there are more vegetarian dishes.

When I stepped in the shop for the first time I immediately fell in love with the interior and the atmosphere. I loved the high ceiling, white bricks, flower decorations and the old school furniture. It’s a great place to hang out with your friends and enjoy good food.

When I visited the Dandin Bakery for lunch my choice was the couscous salad. I have to tell you it was the best couscous salad I ever had. It contains roasted veggies (carrots, zucchinis, peppers), pickles, wild chive and a creamy balsamic sauce. As a drink I had refreshing vanilla rooibos iced tea.

The service could have been a bit faster, but besides that I can highly recommend the Dandin Bakery. You can find it here: Kemankeş Karamustafa Paşa Mahallesi, Kılıç Ali Paşa Mescidi Sokak, No 17/A, Beyoğlu, İstanbul

Enjoy exploring Istanbul!
